Shoes should be cleaned of loose dirt immediately after use with a damp cloth or sponge.
If your feet sweat inside the shoes, it is important to let the shoes air out well after use. Fully loosen the laces, remove any removable insoles, open the shoe's mouth wide, and let the shoes dry thoroughly before the next use.
If the shoes get wet on the inside as well, remove the removable insoles and open the shoe's mouth wide to allow air to circulate inside the shoes as much as possible.
It is also beneficial to give the shoes "rest days" to allow them to dry and air out properly.
Store the shoes upright, at room temperature, and protected from UV light.

There are very few barriers to using barefoot shoes.
However, such barriers include functional or structural disorders of the feet or lower limbs. For example, hallux rigidus, or stiff big toe, where the big toe joint does not bend easily or at all upwards during the push-off phase of the step – which is a requirement for the natural roll of the step.
Similarly, any surgical operations where joints are fused – that is, their movement is restricted or completely prevented – pose challenges for the smooth use of barefoot shoes and the benefits they provide.
Loss of sensation in the soles of the feet (neuropathy) due to diabetes or nerve damage can also be considered a contraindication for using barefoot shoes, as you may injure your feet without noticing through the thin sole of the shoe.
If you have painful osteoarthritis or an active inflammatory phase of rheumatoid arthritis, it is advisable to reconsider using barefoot shoes until the condition improves.
If necessary, consult a physiotherapist or podiatrist who is knowledgeable about this matter. Remember to tell them that you want to transition to using barefoot shoes and ask how they can assist you in this project.

Right size from chart. Fast delivery and very comfy and varm.
They are comfortable but the top of my feet are quite thin so I had to sew the shoes a little on the top as they were way too big. I wonder if the wool fabric will get bigger later on. I hope not!
The slippers are great very comfortable. The felt doesn’t seem very durable as on one of the slippers there are holes on the side and the heel. Very frustrating as I love this brand and usually great quality however I’ve only had these slippers about 6 months and already falling apart.
Comfortable slippers. I had a pair of these in light pink as work shoes last year. Now I’ve bought another pair in a darker shade. They’re lovely and light and breathable. I had to go for a size smaller than I usually do with other Vaistoa shoes.
Absolutely lovely slippers. I’ve been wearing open-toed shoes outdoors for ages, but indoors I’ve been wearing cheap ‘Crocs’ – I won’t be wearing those any more.

I bought them as work shoes. They’re wonderfully light. At the end of the day, you have to remember to take the insoles out, as moisture builds up between the sole and the insole.

Good non-slippery soles. The inner soles are also very soft and the slippers are comfortable and warm but not sweaty either.

Is the fleece thinner in these than in the previous ones? Otherwise, they’re just as lovely and good as the previous ones. I use the old ones every day. I’m saving the new ones for, shall we say, ‘better occasions’.
I needed the slippers urgently, so the quick delivery was really great 👌. The slippers are absolutely lovely. Soft, beautiful and the size is just right. It’s the same size I usually wear anyway. You can wear socks with them, but they’re comfortable on their own too.

Very comfortable and warm slippers. At first, the edge at the heel was a bit uncomfortable, but I stretched the fabric a bit and now it doesn’t bother me at all. Plenty of room for the toes. In winter, I put in a heated insole, so my feet don’t get cold in the old house.
