The water-repellent properties of the shoe’s surface can be maintained with a protective spray.
It is recommended to clean off loose dirt immediately after use with a damp cloth or sponge.
If your feet sweat inside the shoes, it is important to let them air out well after use. Remove any removable insole, open the shoe wide, and allow the shoes to dry completely before the next wear.
If the shoes get wet on the inside as well, remove the insole and open the shoe as wide as possible to ensure proper air circulation inside.
It is also beneficial to give your shoes “rest days,” allowing them to dry and air out properly.

Lightweight, comfortable material. Stylish. I’ve been wearing only barefoot shoes for four years now.
The first pair were indeed too small, but thanks to some helpful instructions I managed to return them, and the new ones had already arrived in my Matkahuolto parcel box. I haven’t had a proper chance to try the shoes out yet, but if they’re as good as my previous summer shoes, I’ll be happy.
The shoes are amazing, I can’t imagine wearing other shoes now. Connecting to the ground has helped me recover from neuropathy following chemotherapy. I’ve walked for many kilometres in the shoes and they’ve lasted so well. Now I have the boots too to take me into autumn. My balance has also improved as an added bonus of stronger feet. Tree pose is finally unlocked 🧘♀️
I have lots of Vaistoa shoes and boots. The size chart is easy to use. I use sneakers in size 39, they are perfect for bare feet. All boots are size 40, because I want to have some extra space for socks. I ordered these Chelsea boots in 40. I LOVE the zippers! The length and toe width is perfect, but I find them a little bit narrow at the top. Luckily they have the elastic part on the side. They are suprisingly warm, but not too warm.
I placed my order at the last minute late in the evening, just as the offer was about to end, and I didn’t have time to check the size. I went for a size 41, just like last time. The size is right, and the zip is really handy. They feel comfortable and natural on my feet and when walking, though we haven’t actually managed to go out together in them yet. I was a bit unsure about the colour (I don’t like brown), but almond is actually a lovely shade – almost orange. They’re definitely good shoes for between seasons. My other barefoot shoes have also felt surprisingly natural to walk in very quickly. And my long-standing ankle problem has almost disappeared; things clearly started to improve with these shoes.
A really beautiful, stylish and casual pair of ankle boots. I’ve tried them on and they feel light and fit a narrow foot perfectly. I can’t wait to get properly wearing them. Looking forward to the cool autumn weather.
A lovely colour, but unfortunately the ankle section is too tight and rubs when worn if you have a slightly sturdier ankle. The material is also a bit ‘loose’, so the shoe ends up feeling a bit shapeless, like a floppy foot. This wouldn’t have been a problem either, had the ankle not been so tight. Otherwise, the shoe felt good and the sole felt fine when tried on indoors. I didn’t dare take the risk of testing whether the ankle area might stretch a little with wear, so I sent them back.
They’re wonderfully soft and flexible on your feet, yet still smart enough for city wear. You can pop out to run errands and do a few laps round the car park with your child – they’ve got plenty of grip!
The top of the shoe feels a little bit like it cuts into the skin of my ankle, but not too much and I think I’m going to get used to it
I like that it’s relatively easy to put on, but it’s even easier to take it off, which I happen to really like.

The shoe was too big around the forefoot, even though I measured it according to the instructions. On the other hand, it was a bit too tight around the ankle. So it didn’t fit my foot at all.
They fit my feet really well with socks on; I haven’t worn them outside yet as it’s still warm. I wear the summer shoes I bought every day, and soon I won’t be able to wear any other shoes.
The new burgundy colour is absolutely gorgeous, and these shoes really embody the splendour of autumn style 😍

The only thing is, the upper is quite narrow compared to the rest of the shoe! I don’t think my ankles are particularly thick, but it was a proper nightmare pulling the zip up as it was almost scraping my skin 🫣 And, unfortunately, that snug fit wasn’t really for me anyway.
