USAGE
Loosen the laces properly when taking the shoes off and putting them on. This reduces wear and helps extend the lifespan of your shoes.
Let the shoes air out well after use. Fully loosen the laces, remove the insole, open the shoe wide, and allow the shoes to dry naturally before the next use.
It’s also good to give your shoes “rest days” so they can dry and ventilate properly.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
It’s best to clean off loose dirt right after use with a damp cloth or sponge.
We do not recommend washing barefoot shoes in a washing machine. The membranes of waterproof models may become clogged, and machine washing can weaken the durability of the shoe’s glued parts.
Store the shoes upright at room temperature and protected from UV light.

There are very few barriers to using barefoot shoes.
However, such barriers include functional or structural disorders of the feet or lower limbs. For example, hallux rigidus, or stiff big toe, where the big toe joint does not bend easily or at all upwards during the push-off phase of the step – which is a requirement for the natural roll of the step.
Similarly, any surgical operations where joints are fused – that is, their movement is restricted or completely prevented – pose challenges for the smooth use of barefoot shoes and the benefits they provide.
Loss of sensation in the soles of the feet (neuropathy) due to diabetes or nerve damage can also be considered a contraindication for using barefoot shoes, as you may injure your feet without noticing through the thin sole of the shoe.
If you have painful osteoarthritis or an active inflammatory phase of rheumatoid arthritis, it is advisable to reconsider using barefoot shoes until the condition improves.
If necessary, consult a physiotherapist or podiatrist who is knowledgeable about this matter. Remember to tell them that you want to transition to using barefoot shoes and ask how they can assist you in this project.

Great shoes so far, only call out to help others is that I wear a UK 10.5 in new balance and ordered a 45 based on the recommendation of the system. I would go for a 44 next time.
It's my third set of boots from you and I love them. I have tried Vivo, Hobie Bear, XZero, and many others and these are by far the most comfortable, best fit, and long-lasting. These ones are my favourites. My feet do not sweat as they are fully breathable but still when I'm standing in a boat that has water in, my feet stay dry as long as i'm not standing in it for too long.

The package arrived surprisingly quickly. The appearance and workmanship are very beautiful and give a high-quality impression both inside and out. In terms of comfort, however, the product could still use some improvement, because the reinforcement inside the shoe extends about 3 mm too high and rubbed against the ankle bone during the first few days. I had to gently hammer that area a bit to soften it, and now it is fine.
Very pleased with these they are incredibly lightweight and breathable and the perfect compliment to the winter boots I have from Vaistoa. Perfect for spring hiking on lowland trails and a great addition to my growing collection of Vaistoa acquisitions. I must admit I was sceptical about the whole barefoot, zero drop idea until trying them at first in septemeber last year but I am now a convert and fan. Thankyou and highly recommended this is a step you wont regret.
Love them! I have princess legs- all the shoes make blisters. But Tuohi 2 barefoot shoes are the best- i just finished 20km hike in rain and with quite the terrain challenges and my feet are dry and not tired, hurt, not one blister! 20km should make the feet a bit tired- these shoes walk themselves- I felt like the Egyptian princess walked by a throne and not having to walk by yourself. They are the best! Amazingly light, bendable and my feet are dry and not tired. Really fast delivery!
Very comfortable from the minute you put them on. I tend to size up for other shoes but these are true to size. Toes have enough space and zero drop keeps them from sliding forward. Just Great :)

These shoes are made for my feet! I love them so much! Perfect for hiking inn all terrains! These are my second pair of Vaistoa and the Tuohi 2 is good for low volume feet. The sizing is a bit big. If you are in doubt, take the smallest, or just choose one size down.

I’d recommend to size down if you’re in between sizes. Just did a 13 km trail hike and I can really recommend them!
The first moment I put my boots on, they felt comfortable on foot but a bit stiff on ankle. After couple of days wearing them + adding hiking socks, they felt really comfortable. And they are waterproof on muddy walks. Also they look good.
I have not had longer hike yet, but I hope that these boots will be as comfortable to wear several hiking days a row as they are on shorter treks.
The first pair of Tuohi I got was problematic -The coating was coming off and some of the seams had come undone after about ten days. I wrote to Vaistooa’s customer service team and they were fantastic – they told me they were aware of the issue and that they would send me another pair as soon as the new model became available. I was very impressed by how quickly they responded, and the new pair seem to be holding up much better - and are a pleasure to wear. I highly recommand this company.
Comfortable but they do feel a bit like walking in rain boots, due to the rubber rim. Overall satisfied with these shoes! My dad also liked them and got inspired to buy his own pair.
My usual size is 40 1/2 and I ordered 40 this time which was a good size for me. A bit difficult to put the shoe on at first and I am sure it will get easier with time. I like the hiking- shoes and will use them a lot on long walks this autumn. ✌️
Just gave these a test run with a long walk with my dogs in varying terrain.
They are light and comfortable, and allow you to feel the ground beneath your feet. They kept my feet cool and dry for the duration.
One single thing causes 1 star to remain unfilled, and that is the little stiff part on the outer side of the shoe right under the "knuckle" of the ankle. It digs into the skin as you're walking, and I have a blister forming.
Other than that, these are awesome shoes, and I will definitely be looking into different models. 😊
The Tuohi 2 hiking boots is advertised as water repellant - they are most certainly not. I have gotten a solution after complaining, but not before Vaistoa tried to tell me that it was a user mistake (!) The boots does not handle even the slightest wet, semi-tall grass before the feet are absolutely soaked. This has been confirmed also by other people who has these exact boots. So, the Tuohi 2 are only usable in totally dry conditions and should be advertised as such. Hope this review finds the public on your site but believe it will not, unfortunately. Otherwise, nice, comfortable boots
Bought these because i love my Vaistoa Rento. The Tuohi are really comfortable and look really good. They feel slightly bigger than the Rento. Looking forward to using them in the forest soon.
